Recordings of this tour...

Well, with the recent demise of the Sony board, I've kinda migrated over here. Has anyone in here gotten a chance to record any of the shows from this year's tour at all??? It seems like out of all the past tours, this one has received minimal coverage from tapers. And about the Rat running the Sony message board, that never happend. It got shut down because of the fact that they are the company trying to make money off an album that hasn't even been released, and people on the board were posting links to their sites giving the album away for free. Not that I think this was bad, but I guess I can see why they shut it down.... no real word on whether or not it'll be back. I hope its dead for good.

I was wondering the same thing but maybe it's because these songs that MM are playing are well known nowadays? I mean, back when I went to the Atlanta & Athens gig, I could have screamed at myself for not recording the shows since that was the first time I heard Bury Me With It and Float On and yada, yada, yada (thankfully someone did record them of course).

Anyway, I agree that it's weird we're not getting some bootlegs here but have no fear, if Modest Mouse performs in Georgia again, I'll definitely bring a recording device no matter what. :tu:
