..just wanted to say hi :) i'm new to this group (been lurking for a lil' while), but i've been an obsessive fan of MM for quite a while.

you guys seem to have pretty good taste in music, besides MM, of course. but does anybody listen to a san francisco based band, called _creeper lagoon_? they are techincall defunct, as of late. but all their material that came happens to be really good.

anywho, didn't mean to wank them too much, but they are fucking great.

also, i have an ftp server, if anybody needs any hosting of files or would like to request anything from me ;)

but their new ep is pretty good

as for creeper, they are a really good band. one of my all time favs and that says a lot because i listen to way to much music :)

whats up im gonna be in san fran on the 7th to check out mouse, its my second trip there to see them. im not to fond of the spot there playing (filmore) but oh well its worth it anyways. oh yeah im seeing big head todd and the monsters tommorow night also great live band in case anyone has a chance to see them.

Ok, I'm downloading "Dear Deadly," "Empty Ships," and "Wrecking Ball." I just took a gamble on these 3 songs so I'll let you know what I think of them after I listen to it, ok?

see! i wasn't kidding bout them! hehe, i'm glad you like them! :) i've got tons of stuff from them. but i've got bad news! they broke up a few months ago! :(

and unfortunately, the guitarist (sharky) took the name and kept going with the band. they aren't very good, without the original members. i personally think that ian, the lead singer was the core talent of the band.

but there's also good news! there's plenty of old creeper for you to check out! and just about all of it happens to be very good... also, the lead singer from creeper started his own band, called _on the speakers_. which sounds like a "lighter" creeper. but still great, imo.

i noticed that you were in the IT field. are you a network admin? consultant? i also work in the nerdy field of IT, for a living. but i swear i'm the furthest thing from a computer junkie. i can't relate to anybody in my field! it sucks...

although i really like ian's voice

the real talent is sharky
and the newest ep he recorded is great

their dreamworks cd was terrible
except for the song sharky sang
