I was wandering ( for no real reason) what movies had m.m. songs on the soundtracks. I know "tail lights fade" does but this movie sucks so I was wandering if it was the only one or what.

WOAH, good topic!

I had no idea MM had songs on movie soundtracks. Dang, you learn something new everyday. ;) Anyway, thanks for the heads-up on that movie. Hey, what song was it that's on that movie?

I'll admit, I did not know that. Thanks Matt for the scoop!

You know, it still blows my mind to hear Gravity Rides Everything on that commercial. I can't help but to wonder if others are thinking: "what is this song" and just sit there absolutely clueless as to who the artist is behind it? Y'all reckon this might happen?

Wouldn't it be funny to hear someone admit that they became a fan of MM due to hearing Gravity Rides Everything on the Nissan commercial?

you beat me to it. Im going to bed, my mom's got the TV on and I hear what sounds like "Gravity Rides Everything". So, I go online just mow to see if that really was MM or I was just hearing things. That was really scary..
and it was playing on a major cable network. Is this GOOD or BAD of them?

yeah whats up with the nissan commercial?

i mean it's all advertising adgencies who can pay for the song rights from the record label who happens to be epic, who happens to be owned by sony.

it's easy to sell out and not even try in this buy-able society.

i'm sure no one watchin the commercial cares about the music anyway.
unless they are like all of us who's ears perk up when they hear a modest mouse song.

Really? (btw: I love that song)

Ever wonder how people approach MM for their songs? I mean, why MM? I'm not complaining of course since it's kinda cool how these TV ad/Movie people would rather use a MM song then these ever so annoying artist (Britney Spears/Janet Jackson/Madonna) songs for such. Hope I'm making sense here?

I'm pretty sure nissan used gravity... on their commercials cause it sounds a lot prettier than say a brittany song. Miller used the same song, i heard it a few months before the nissan one. I don't like it one bit!!! Music is art and it comes from their soal and I hate to hear that they're selling their art to these huge corporate brands. I'm sure they were paying the bills fine before. I still love 'em though even though I hope this isn't a new trend of theirs.
