Someone said I shouldn't knock this show nor Carson Daly since it's a good show/good host but HELLO...IT'S MTV! I don't care who's the host is...it still suck's that MM is lowering themselves to MTV! Great, there goes our band! :confused: I can picture it now, teenyboppers declaring their love for MM. UGH!

2. This possibly means this next MM album (Good news) might be thier <u>LAST</u> good album. First they go into a car commercial, now you claim they're on MTV. When many bands get commercially recognized, they're next album is usually bad.

You should join the Modest Mouse mailing list since that's how majority of us found out about it. Anyway, I don't like MTV (I went to a live taping of an "Unplugged Show" and I HATED the entire experience) and I hate that MM will be on MTV. And sorry, I don't like Carson Daly either.

I think this is cool for MM. I don't think that it will change there music much. They have been doing it for so long let them get paid. Now when the music start to suck then we can bitch.

its great that they will be able to get their music out to a larger group of people so they will be making more money and they will go on more tours...

it sucks that there will be retards that never knew anything about the band taking the last ticket to a show, while i stand patiently behind plotting their death. also it will be at some huge colliseaum where there wont be that small venue intimacy anymore. ticket prices will be higher and yeah i guess it all kind of sucks for me. but i am happy for the band. i just hope that with albums after this goes down that they wont be too famous and change thier music style to fit into what "radio" deems fit.

I personally am excited to see this band get bigger...everybody just needs to calm down..you can't have your little inde band all to yourself forever..this music should be shared and listened by all...and as far as them changing their music to fit radio...1st of all, they are not that kinda band. I think Isak Brock would kick his own ass if he ever did that..2nd, with the evergrowing popularity of inde rock in america they wouldn't have to change there sound to gain allot of popularity..3rd: there music, as inde as they are, is pretty poppy(i mean that in a good way) and listenable,especialy in their last few albums...but i am excited to see this band get some money. maybe make some cool video's and all sorts of stuff..

modest mouse isn't like your average band, theres a guy in it named Isaac Brock, and he does this thing, it's called kicks major rock'n out ninja ass and is totally sweet at the same time. there for it don't matter if george bush listens to float on while signing papers(or other matters concerning civil unrest) it will be awesome.

well i just watched it last night ...and it was pretty cool..they did a great song and it was a good preview of their album and up coming tour...but i can't say as much for that show..OMG did that show suck...carson daley acted like he had never been on TV before..he reminded me of that old chris farely skit on SNL where he interveiwed Paul McCartney...anywho..modest mouse rocked and it was compleatly obviose that the whole audience was just there to see them.
